Historic Places Days 2025: Take Part in Canadian Heritage and Creativity

Dear colleagues,

Each July, Historic Places Days offer Canadians a chance to reflect on the richness and diversity of our country’s past through the places that continue to tell its stories, including the national historic sites administered by Parks Canada. This year’s celebration runs from July 11 to 20, and I invite all of you to take time to discover and learn about these special places.

Parks Canada is proud to continue collaborating with the National Trust for Canada to support this national initiative. The theme in 2025 “Makers from Coast to Coast to Coast: Honouring Arts, Crafts, and Storytelling” is a tribute to the rich tapestry of Canadian creativity and heritage.

I invite you to explore the initiatives on the National Trust for Canada website, where you will find shareable content and ideas on how to get involved. You will also find tools and resources available on ParksNet to support Parks Canada outreach and engagement efforts.

Thank you for the dedication you bring to sharing Canada’s heritage with the public. Happy Historic Places Days!
