Conclusion of the second session of collective bargaining
Dear colleagues,
Representatives from the Public Service Alliance of Canada (PSAC) and Parks Canada concluded their second round of bargaining on Thursday, March 26, 2026.
Once again, the parties engaged in meaningful discussions to clarify their respective positions and explore areas of interest of the PSAC bargaining team. Presentations were made on the Joint Learning Program and the National Joint Council, which set the stage to upcoming exchanges on these elements.
Parks Canada is prepared to negotiate an agreement that is fair to all employees and to taxpayers. We approach these sessions with a purpose of ensuring that Parks Canada can continue to deliver on its mandate for generations to come. We look forward to return to the bargaining table on May 27 and 28, 2026.
I invite you to visit the ParksNet page on collective bargaining at Parks Canada for more information.
Best regards,
Rawan El-Komos
Vice President, Human Resources and Employee Wellness
