Visitor centre

A western welcome to the western lifestyle! The visitor centre is open daily 10 am to 5 pm during the operating season.

The Bar U Ranch National Historic Site visitor centre is wheelchair accessible. The centre hosts a visitor information and reception area, restroom facilities, fireside lounge, educational displays, and gift shop.

The visitor centre displays a 12-minute movie, The Mighty Bar U, during opening hours.

The visitor centre has complimentary coffee, and a variety of snacks for sale at the gift shop. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and find their perfect picnic spot at one of the many picnic tables throughout the site.

Beyond the visitor centre building reveals the heart of the historic Bar U Ranch headquarters in the valley below.
