Rancher’s rest stop

Need to stop and stretch your legs?

Join one of our interpreters for a 20-minute presentation, done from horseback no less! You’ll learn about the history of Bar U Ranch, historic ranching practices, and the area. There’s plenty of time for your questions too.

A view from the fence line

Set against the sweeping prairie landscape, this program invites guests to pause, listen, and step into the boots of ranch hands who once called Bar U home. “A View from the Fence Line” offers a 20-minute interpretive program bringing the ranch’s rich history to life! This informal presentation is a relaxed and authentic introduction to the Bar U Ranch.

Your visit to Bar U isn't complete without exploring the visitor centre and the Pekisko Creek General Store.
