The Lookout field

This versatile outdoor venue adjacent to the Signal Hill Visitor Centre (230 Signal Hill Road) offers two unique areas to suit your needs. The upper field, adjacent to the building and above the bleachers, is ideal for intimate gatherings, offering a cozy atmosphere, while the larger main field provides ample space for larger occasions. With its flexibility and picturesque setting, this venue is the perfect choice for your next event.
Group size The upper field, nestled alongside the Visitor Centre, provides an intimate setting, suitable for approximately 35 seated guests, making it perfect for weddings, ceremonies, and smaller gatherings.
The lower main field is a spacious venue featuring bleacher-style seating for approximately 100 guests. While bleacher seating is available, event organizers have the option to arrange their own chair rentals to meet their needs. This flexibility makes it an ideal option for larger events, including weddings, performances, and community gatherings. Equipped with several electrical hookups at different locations.
Availability
The Lookout field special event permits are available from June to October between 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Whether you need the space for a half day or the whole day, we have options to suit your needs. Please note that the set-up and tear-down of any tables, chairs or event-related equipment must occur within your event permit timeframe. Requests for other dates or times may be considered upon request but could incur an additional fee. The Lookout field is subject to Parks Canada's pre-scheduled bookings so blackout periods may apply. Venue details

There is a minimum six-week processing period for bookings and special event permits, which must be formalized prior to proposed event dates.
