Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site is temporarily closed to the public for the season and will reopen in spring 2026. In the meantime:

The site welcomes groups (schools, social clubs, etc.) for guided tours from May to September, upon reservation only. See details.
The outdoor areas can be visited freely and at no cost, but please note that the visitor centre and restrooms are not accessible.

Located in southwestern Quebec in the town of Coteau-du-Lac, in Montérégie, Coteau-du-Lac National Historic Site is open to the general public from June to September.

Allow around 90 minutes to explore the visitor center and outdoor facilities, and enjoy a picnic near the archaeological remains.
