    Learn about Indigenous culture from the Niitsitapi Ambassadors during the powwow exhibitions. Offered in collaboration with the Blackfoot Canadian Cultural Society.

    Each day, events start at 11 am!

    The Niitsitapi Arts & Heritage Festival is back! Celebrate and learn about the local Indigenous peoples. Experience Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfoot) culture through dance demonstrations, food and drink, art, and vendors with handmade goods.

    This two-day festival concludes with the Waterton Traditional Powwow, starting at 5 pm on August 12.

    This event is offered in collaboration with the Blackfoot Canadian Cultural Society.

    Join the volunteer team and become a Citizen Scientist for the day. We will be scouring the shorelines to collect all the garbage we can find and recording our findings.
