Point Pelee National Park

Are you between the ages of 9 and 12 and excited to learn and explore nature in your own backyard? Join Point Pelee’s Young Naturalists Club!

Beginning this September, The Young Naturalists Club will meet monthly throughout the school year (January excluded) from 6 pm to 8:30 pm:

English program, Wednesday evenings:

  • December 17
  • February 18
  • March 25
  • April 22
  • May 27
  • June 24

French program, Thursday evenings:

  • September 25
  • October 23
  • November 13
  • December 18
  • February 19
  • March 25
  • April 23
  • May 28
  • June 25

Each meeting will focus on a different aspect of our natural and cultural world. Topics include: Monarchs and Migration, Creatures of the Night, Human History in the Park, Astronomy, Owls as Fierce Predators, Amphibians, Birding 101, and Life in a Great Lakes Marsh. Each session will include a learning component, experiential activities, and hands-on crafts that participants will be able to take home at the end of the evening.

Cost: $203 per child for 8 sessions.

Registration opens September 1 and closes October 15. Register early to secure your spot. Program subject to minimum and maximum enrollment.
