The Park is open daily from 7 a.m. to dusk.

Point Pelee National Park is in off-peak operations from November 1 to April 11. Park facilities and services may be limited during this period. Vehicle access routes to some areas, including picnic areas and DeLaurier Homestead and Trail are closed from the first snow fall. Visitors must be prepared for limited services and are responsible for their own safety.
What’s Open in the Park:
- Washrooms are available at the Marsh Boardwalk, White Pine, the Visitor Centre, and the Tip.
- After the first snowfall, winter parking is available at the Marsh Boardwalk, White Pine, the Visitor Centre and at the Tip (limited).
- Entrance kiosk is open for day and annual pass purchases.
- Parking, washrooms, and a refillable water station at the Visitor Centre are available everyday.
- Camp Henry is open for overnight stays, reservations required.
Visitor Centre
- Open weekends throughout the winter
- Indoor facilities including washrooms, theatre, and exhibit.
- Nature Nook Bookstore.
- Artist in residence gallery.
- Refillable water station.
- Park staff available.
Campground/Camp Henry
- Campground store open 11 a.m. – 4 p.m., Thursday to Monday until December 23, 2025.
- oTENTik reservations available for stays until March 31, 2026.
- oTENTik reservations for April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027, will open on February 2, 2026. For more information, please visit the Parks Canada making a reservation page.
Trails
The trails are not maintained; use at your own risk.
Rental Picnic Areas
- White Pine picnic area is available to rent year-round, equipped with wood burning stove and insulated walls. Washrooms available onsite. Reservations required, 519-322-5700 ext. 0.
- Northwest Beach is closed from November 1 to March 31, annually.
Washrooms are available at the Marsh boardwalk, White Pine, the Visitor Centre and the Tip.
