In partnership with the Canadian Federation of Earth Sciences, Pukaskwa National Park will be hosting their fifth annual Geologist in Residence (GIR) from August 3 through 16. During the residency, the GIR will help visitors understand and appreciate the incredible geology of the park. Specific activities will be scheduled at a later date; keep an eye on the Pukaskwa National Park official Facebook page for program specifics!

Ma-Nee Chacaby is a two-spirit Ojibwa-Cree writer, artist, storyteller, activist and 2025 Canada Reads winner. Her autobiography A Two-Spirit Journey provides insight into the socioeconomic challenges faced by many Indigenous peoples through the sharing of her raw and personal experience growing up in a remote Ojibwa community.
