A'Tuken/ Tell Stories/Raconter des histoires
Location: Cavendish Campground
Discover the rich culture of the Mi’kmaq people through story, song and dance. The event takes place at the Cavendish campground; you don’t have to be a camper to participate!

Wild Weaving
Location: Stanhope Campground
Marine debris such as discarded ropes and fishing nets poses a significant threat to coastal ecosystems. In this hands-on activity, participants weave using materials recovered from the shores of Prince Edward Island National Park — giving new life to collected debris while fostering creativity and environmental stewardship.

Mi’kmaw heritage experiences
Location: Greenwich trailhead and Skmaqn—Port-la-Joye—Fort Amherst National Historic Site
Visit the Mi’kmaq Heritage Actors for authentic Mi’kmaw heritage experiences.
Drop in to connect with the troupe and discover the rich culture of the Epekwitnewaq (PEI) Mi’kmaq people through history, culture, language, and stories that have been passed down from generation to generation. This is an experience you don’t want to miss!
