Forillon National Park
This fall, Parks Canada interpreters and guides from the Rimouski Bird Observatory are offering history- and science-related activities to local schoolchildren.
The school program runs from September 21 to October 8, 2026.
Activities
Autumn chores
Come discover the skills and traditions of a family of fishermen and farmers who lived at the Forillon point 100 years ago. Lend a hand to these friendly characters as they tackle their fall chores at Anse-Blanchette. Helping each other out while having fun is so much more enjoyable!
Fee
A fee applies. The activity is free for preschoolers.
Admission to the park is free for children 17 and under.
Date and location
This activity is offered Monday through Thursday at Anse-Blanchette (South area).
The meeting point is at the service building in the Grande-Grave harbour.

Feathers of Forillon
Be a part of the autumn bird migration on the peninsula. Join biologists from the Rimouski Bird Observatory at the Forillon banding station. Explore this corner of the forest with them and learn more about the park’s biodiversity and about birds’ habitats, diets, and migration patterns. Who knows? You might even get the chance to see them up close!
Fee
Different fees apply for groups of 20 students or fewer and groups of 21 students or more.
Admission to the park is free for children 17 and under.
Date and location
The activity is offered Monday through Thursday, in the morning, at L'Anse-aux-Amérindiens (South area).
The meeting place is at the L'Anse-aux-Amérindiens roundabout.

Additional information
Be sure to bring weather-appropriate clothing (warm clothes, rain boots, gloves or mittens, a hat, a windbreaker, or a raincoat).
Like other sites administered by Parks Canada, Forillon National Park charges service fees for school programs. The revenue generated by these fees is reinvested in the park’s services and maintenance.
