Parks Canada: an open business partner
A flagship attraction in Gaspésie, Forillon National Park welcomed over 188,000 visitors from around the world in 2025. With the Canada Strong pass program offering free or discounted admission to most of Parks Canada places, increased traffic is expected in 2026. This creates great business opportunities for varied food offerings!
Penouille and Cap-des-Rosiers: your seaside base!
The food spaces are located in two visitor service centres: Penouille and Cap-des-Rosiers. Advantageously positioned at the park’s north and south entrances, they become prime gourmet stops for all types of vacationers.

Penouille
The Penouille area, with its sand spit, attracts both families and nature lovers. The food service is located in the reception and information centre, facing the scenic road at the entrance to the beach and trails. It’s a new wooden building with a unique character and a sheltered terrace. The food counter, information desk, and Parks Canada store share the building’s open space.
Cap-des-Rosiers
The Cap-des-Rosiers reception and discovery centre offers visitors to the park’s North sector an information counter, a store, exhibits, a landscaped courtyard, and a small terrace overlooking the Gulf. The new dining area and its charming glassed-in dining room offer a view of the harbour. Nearby, visitors can access easy seaside trails, campgrounds, a large parking lot, and a long pebble beach.
Visibility
Each food counter service benefits from increased visibility through the digital platforms managed by Forillon National Park.
