Eligibility conditions

To be eligible to the following student jobs, you must:

  • be registered as a full-time or part-time secondary or postsecondary school, college or university student in an approved educational programme in the 2026 winter session;
  • or be taking part in a secondary-level adult education or retraining programme run by an accredited educational establishment in the current session (winter 2026);
  • hold a valid class 5 driving licence;
  • have reached the minimum age required for employment in Québec.

Student jobs available in Forillon

Reception at the gate and customer service

Visitor services attendant: welcome and provide information to visitors in different areas of the park; provide services such as collecting entrance and camping fees, selling items and permits at points of sale (cash registers), etc.

  • Workplace: Forillon National Park
  • Duration of employment: Beginning of June to end of August 2026
  • Type of job: Full time
  • Work schedule: Daytime and evening schedule, on weekdays and weekends
  • Salary: Hourly rate between $17.75 and $29.64
  • Language profile: French or bilingual
Heritage presentation and interpretation

Park guide: present and lead activities; welcome, inform and guide visitors; offer an exceptional experience to visitors.

  • Workplace: Forillon National Park
  • Duration of employment: Beginning of June to end of August 2026
  • Type of job: Full time
  • Work schedule: Daytime and evening schedule, on weekdays and weekends
  • Salary: Hourly rate between $17.75 and $29.64
  • Language profile: French or bilingual
Lifeguarding

Lifeguard: inform swimmers of pool safety regulations and ensure compliance; rescue people in distress using recognised techniques; ensure the proper use of aquatic equipment and first aid supplies.

  • Workplace: Forillon National Park
  • Duration of employment: mid-June to end of August 2026
  • Type of job: Full time
  • Work schedule: Daytime and evening schedule, on weekdays and weekends
  • Prerequisites: be a national lifeguard, be at least 15 years old and have a valid bronze medal dated no more than 2 years ago.
  • Salary: Assistant lifeguard: $22.23 (under review) / Lifeguard: $23.55 (under review)
  • Language profile: French or bilingual
