From February 11 to 13, 2026, from 8 am to 2 pm, young people from school service centres in the region will come to discover La Mauricie National Park for the 17th edition of the Défis du parc – Nordique event organized by Cyclo-Mauricie. The event is reserved exclusively for young people from registered schools. Physical activity and access to nature for young people have always been priorities for Parks Canada.
A wide range of activities are organized and led by students from Collège Laflèche and the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières. They will take place in the Rivière à la Pêche sector, specifically on trails #6, #6A, and #11 (La Familiale). The sector remains open to visitors.
