Day 1


Location: Forillon National Park
Distance: 40 km from Gaspé

Get an up-close look at the incredible sights of the sea, pebbled beaches and cliffs, where seals, seabirds and whales are the main attraction!

Visit Cap-Bon-Ami, it’s simply magnificent! Listen and you’ll hear thousands of seabirds nesting in the cliffs. Watch as they dive into the water for food. Want a panoramic view from above? Climb to the top of the Mont-Saint-Alban lookout tower to admire the sea, the cliffs and the forest as far as the eye can see.

Day 2


Location: Forillon National Park

Discover one of the park’s best-kept secrets: a freshwater waterfall nestled in the heart of the mountains. From there, follow the low-elevation trails, including Le Pic-bois and Le Ruisseau– you’ll be entering beaver territory! End your day by the sea on the Du Banc Trail, on foot or by bike. Make sure to take in the majestic cliff views, pausing at scenic picnic spots to soak it all in.

Day 3


Location: Forillon National Park

Embark on a whale-watching tour. Feel the anticipation as you eagerly await for a whale’s back to breach the surface. Then join the excitement of hearing its powerful blow! Enjoy a picnic at the Grande‑Grave harbour and explore the area on foot. Step inside the Hyman & Sons General Store and the Dolbel‑Roberts House— witnesses to the golden age of the codfish industry and the site’s cultural diversity. Drop by to visit the Blanchette in their charming yellow house— a lively family of fisherman‑farmers from days gone by!

Day 4


Location: Forillon National Park

Follow the bay along the Les Graves Trail. At Cap‑Gaspé, take in sweeping views of the sea and magnificent mountains. Scan the Gulf, you might spot whales or Northern Gannets! Lean against the lighthouse for a moment, then learn the story behind this familiar landmark. Have you snapped a photo on one of the famous red chairs yet? Now’s the time!

Day 5


Location: Forillon National Park

Head to Petit-Gaspé pebble beach and observe the shoreline change with the rhythm of the tides, noticing the small organisms in tidal pools, and seabirds roaming the shore. Try your luck fishing from the Grande-Grave wharf and try to catch some mackerel for dinner!

Day 6


Location: Forillon National Park

Explore Gaspé Bay by kayak. Watch the seals, enjoy the sunset or sail to the mouth of the bay by the foot of the cliffs. Like to bike? Ride along the many multi‑use trails, including La Vallée and Le Portage. Keep an eye out: ruffed grouse, snowshoe hares, and porcupines roam here too! Stop for a bite at one of the picnic areas in this lush corner of the park.

Day 7


Location: Forillon National Park

Bring your binoculars and explore a protected salt marsh teeming with life at Penouille. Then, venture into an unexpected taiga, where lichen and moss thrive under black spruces. A fragile environment of rare beauty! Reach the tip of this sand spit for a refreshing dip in the bay’s temperate waters. This is the place to bring your paddleboard!
