Pursuant to section 36(1) of the National Parks, General Regulations, of the Canada National Parks Act, the Superintendent hereby prohibits public entry and movement within the area described below.

For the purposes of this public notice, a closure is required to ensure visitor safety. Multi-use trail #2 is closed due to the presence of hazardous trees. Several beech trees are severely affected by beech bark disease, posing a significant safety risk.

The multi-use trail #2 is therefore inaccessible (see attached map):

This closure is effective from December 12, 2025 until further notice.

Persons who do not comply with this notice may be subject to legal proceedings under section 24 (1) of the Canada National Parks Act.
