WHAT: Pursuant to Subsection 7(1) of the General Regulations of Canada National Parks Act, the following activity is restricted or prohibited by order of the Superintendent:

The walking, exercising, or use of dogs is prohibited in the following signed area in Pacific Rim National Park Reserve.

WHERE: Dogs are prohibited in coastal areas and trails between the Green Point Rocks and Willowbrae Trail (the southern boundary of the Long Beach Unit).

WHY: To protect wildlife and offer a positive visitor experience.

WHEN: At all times, unless indicated otherwise.

PENALTY: Violators may be charged under the Canada National Parks Act: maximum penalty $25 000.
