What: Pursuant to Section 12 (1) of the National Historic Parks General Regulations, random camping and motorized use is prohibited in the area known as Lindeman City, as shown on the attached map. This area is bounded by the Lindeman lakeshore and Moose Creek, and extends to UTM E494900, N662700.

Why: These activities are prohibited in order to protect cultural resources.

Please Note: Snowmobile access to the Lindeman Day Use Cabins is via Lake Lindeman only. Camping immediately next to the Day Use Cabins is permitted between November 1 and April 14. Travel by foot or ski throughout the entire Lindeman City Restricted Activity Area is also permitted. The Day Use Cabins at Lindeman City are open but are not being maintained over the winter.
