Parks Canada National Program for Ecological Corridors
Personal information is collected under section 8 of the Canada National Parks Act and section 8 of the Parks Canada Agency Act to support national coordination and development of science, guidance, tools, and resources for the National Program for Ecological Corridors. Personal information is used to support program activities, guidance, mapping, and funding initiatives; and to inform program decisions and reporting.
Personal information collected enables Parks Canada to engage with experts, Indigenous peoples, stakeholders, and the public; to review and evaluate funding proposals or participation in program activities; to develop guidance, mapping, and reporting; and to inform decisions necessary for the effective coordination of the program.
Personal information may be disclosed internally within Parks Canada and to other federal government institutions as necessary to respond to inquiries received via public communications or outreach channels.
The information you provide may be used and/or disclosed for policy analysis, research and/or evaluation purposes. However, these additional uses and/or disclosures of your personal information will not result in an administrative decision being made about you.
Your personal information is administered in accordance with the Canada National Parks Act, the Parks Canada Agency Act and the Privacy Act.
