Take part in the Push-up Challenge!

Good morning,

For a second year, we will be taking part in the Push-Up Challenge, which will be held from February 11 to 28. As wellness co-champions, we are inviting you to join in!

The Push-ups challenge is a unique and fun fitness event that is focused on encouraging better mental health and well-being through connection, physical activity, and education for all Canadians. Each participant is challenged to complete a total of 2,000 push-ups over 18 days to raise funds and awareness for mental health in Canada.

Sounds like too many push-ups? You can do alternative exercises – like sit-ups and squats – or a portion of the challenge instead, like 25%, 50% or 75% of the full 2,000. It is free to take part and there is a handy application that makes it easy to bank your push-ups each day. You will receive a daily push-up target and mental health fact to keep you on track to achieve your goal.

This is a great opportunity to help our Parks Canada team raise funds for the Canadian Mental Health Association.

If you are keen to get involved or donate, check out our Parks Canada community page.

Let’s make a positive impact together! Join us in this challenge for a healthier, more supportive community!
